4 years agoAfter starting out 3-0 inside the UFC, Brendan Allen ran into his first roadblock in Sean Strickland. In the 8:28 of action on Saturday, Allen landed 51 significant strikes (53 total strikes) and was didn't attempt any takedowns. A lot of Allen's game depends on getting the takedown and pounding on his opponent. Strickland came out on fire and Allen was never able to implement his game plan. Allen is a very young talent and should not be slept on. His career is not over because of one early loss. Let's see how he's matched up in his return to the Octagon.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
