6 years agoMontreal Canadiens right wing Brendan Gallagher netted his first NHL hat trick during a 5-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday. He scored twice in the first 11 minutes of the first period and completed his milestone with a marker early in the second frame. Gallagher is now up to 26 goals, 14 assists, and a plus-10 rating through 61 games. He is proving that he is not a fluke after registering a career-high 31 goals last season. Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Tomas Tatar also scored in the victory. The Canadiens have balance across their lineup and boast several players worthy of fantasy consideration in deeper formats.
