5 years agoMarc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times is reporting that Rays outfield and pitching prospect Brendan McKay will be called up on Saturday to start versus the Texas Rangers. McKay has been dominant between Double-A Montgomery and Triple-A Durham this season and registered a 6-0 record with a 1.22 ERA and 88 strikeouts over 61 2/3 innings. McKay should be swooped up in all formats and has a chance to stay with the big league club for the long haul.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
