5 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays will send rookie Brendan McKay to the mound on Wednesday afternoon for the start against Toronto. In five starts with the Rays, McKay is 2-1 with a 4.38 ERA and a 9.1 K/9. McKay could be a good streamer to play on Wednesday for owners not concerned with a potential hit to their ERA. The Blue Jays have been on a hot streak over their last 10 games, but they are averaging 9.7 strikeouts per game in that span, and on the season they have a higher strikeout rate against left-handed starters (26.4 percent) than against right-handers (23.2 percent).
