3 years agoColorado Rockies infielder Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored, and two strikeouts in a 5-0 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. Rodgers took part in Colorado gaining an early advantage when he reached base with a single in the first inning and came around to score off C.J. Cron's three-run homer. He would reach base again with a double later in the contest as well. The 25-year-old is 7-for-31 (.226) over the last seven games but has put together a solid season overall for the Rockies. He's slashing 282/.336/.462 with 10 home runs, 35 RBI, and 32 runs scored across 266 at-bats. He's been a solid addition to fantasy teams in deeper mixed leagues but isn't a shallow league option due to his lack of power and speed.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
