3 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman Brendan Rodgers went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored in a 6-0 win over the Nationals on Saturday. Rodgers put the Rockies on the board in the top of the first inning with a two-run blast off Patrick Corbin, his third home run in the last four games. He later added a double and scored another run. The 25-year-old has been raking over the last 15 contests, slashing .333/.364/.587 with four home runs and 12 RBI over that span. For the year, he's got a solid .288/.337/.480 batting line with 14 home runs and 47 RBI over 333 at-bats on the year. He's looking to finish the season on a high note.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
