3 years agoColorado Rockies Brendan Rodgers (hand) remains day-to-day with right-hand soreness. His right hand is still sore after being hit by a pitch during Saturday's 7-4 win over the Marlins. The trainers are still trying to get the swelling to come down, and his next chance to return will be Friday against the San Francisco Giants. It comes as a wrong time for Rodgers, who has been locked in at the plate, slashing .370/.414/.667 with four home runs, eight RBI, and 12 runs scored over his last 13 games. The injury doesn't appear to be serious, and Rodgers could return at some point during the weekend series against the Giants.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
