3 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI, and two strikeouts in a 5-4 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday. Rodgers picked up his third triple of the season in the fifth inning, scoring Daniel Bard, and giving the Rockies a 4-0 lead. The 25-year-old showed some flashes this season and should be an integral part of the rebuilding Rockies' nucleus next year. He finishes the 2021 season with a .284 batting average, .798 OPS, 15 home runs, and 51 RBI over 387 at-bats.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
