4 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-3 with a triple and a single in a 2-1 loss to the Mariners on Tuesday. Rodgers was the only batter on Colorado to pick up multiple hits as Chris Flexen was rolling on the other side. He picked up a triple and a single but wasn't able to score in the close loss. The former top-prospect is batting .311/.385/.600 with three home runs and nine RBI over the last 15 games. He's got a respectable .262 batting average with a .765 OPS to go along with three home runs and 14 RBI across 84 at-bats. It's nice to see the Rockies finally sticking with him.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
