Brenden Dillon Traded To Winnipeg For Two Future Draft Picks
3 years agoThe Winnipeg Jets acquired veteran defenseman Brenden Dillon from the Washington Capitals on Tuesday. Washington receives second-round picks in 2022 and 2023. Dillon only laced up his skates in DC for 66 regular season games in two years with the team. However, he did have a strong season in 2021, recording two goals and 17 assists in 56 contests. He is more of a stay-at-home defenseman, logging an average of almost 19:00 minutes of total ice time per game, and he carried an impressive plus-15 rating last year. Being more of a defensive specialist, Dillon will most likely not be a hot commodity come fantasy draft time, but he could certainly help Winnipeg's blue line next season.
