2 years agoChicago Cubs top prospect Brennen Davis had surgery Thursday to repair a vascular malformation in his lower back. The 22-year-old outfielder is likely to miss the entire 2022 season, although a timeline is not yet confirmed. Davis is the Cubs number one ranked prospect, so in all likelihood they will treat this injury with extreme caution. Davis was hitting only .195/.286/.299 over 91 PA with AAA Iowa, which can be attributed to this injury.
