3 years agoSan Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns assisted on both Sharks goals on Saturday night versus New Jersey. The shorthanded Sharks, due to COVID, needed Burns to play a lot and he did (30:29 ATOI). That included 5:26 worth of penalty-kill time and more than two minutes on the man advantage. Burns had seven shots on goal, four scoring chances, and three blocked shots. It felt a bit like the old days for the San Jose defenseman as he enjoys a fantasy resurgence of sorts. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
