4 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Brent Honeywell Jr. was sent back down to the team's alternate site after getting the start as the opener in Saturday's win over Toronto, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. Honeywell allowed three runs on three hits and one walk with two strikeouts in one inning of work. Over three appearances now, Honeywell has an 8.31 ERA with four strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings of work. His value this year was always going to be very limited after three years away from the mound due to injury, but managers should watch how he pitches this season, as he could be a solid strikeout sleeper in 2022.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
