2 years agoOakland A's right-hander Brent Honeywell Jr. (elbow) is scheduled to throw a simulated game on Friday in Arizona. Honeywell has yet to appear in a game in 2022 due to a stress reaction in his throwing elbow. The 24-year-old emerged from throwing live batting practice on Monday without any issues. For what it's worth, manager Mark Kotsay told reporters that there may not be enough time to build Honeywell's arm up to be a starter, so he might work out of the bullpen for the A's if he returns in 2022.--Matt T - RotoBaller
