4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder/first baseman Brent Rooker (neck) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday. Rooker was initially listed as a member of the Twins starting nine for Wednesday's game against the Tigers, though he was scratched from the lineup and will be sidelined with a cervical strain. Pitcher Brandon Waddell is expected to take Rooker's spot on the 40-man roster. More at-bats should be on the way for Jake Cave and Kyle Garlick in the outfield.--Tim Capurso
