4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers left-handed pitcher Brent Suter (hand) was hit by a line drive in the left hand during an intrasquad game Friday, but the injury does not appear serious. Suter is set to undergo further evaluation Saturday before Milwaukee makes any decision about his status moving forward. Set to be one of the anchors of the Brewers' bullpen, Suter has proven adept at recording outs whether as a starter or reliever during his five-year tenure with the club. Having posted a 3.13 ERA across 31 2/3 IP last year, he struck out batters at a career-best 29.5 percent rate. Check back for updates on Suter's status as they become available.--Jesse Borek
