Breshad Perriman Expects To Suit Up Sunday

4 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle) is on track to return to the lineup for Sunday’s contest versus Miami. Perriman has missed each of New York’s three previous contests, with his return giving former teammate Joe Flacco a deep threat against the Dolphins’ secondary. Optimism does not abound surrounding the Jets’ offense, which makes Perriman a risky play, but if healthy, he could hold deep season-long league appeal as a touchdown-dependent option depending on what else the waiver wire offers. Having combined for five catches and 29 receiving yards this year, Perriman is likely best served as keeping an eye on for performance in the second half of the season.--Jesse Borek
