Brett Anderson Falls To Astros On Sunday
5 years agoOakland Athletics starter Brett Anderson allowed four runs on seven hits across five innings of work during Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Houston Astros. He struck out three batters while walking four. Anderson has been a reliable option in the A's rotation this campaign. He owns a 10-9 record to go along with a 4.06 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 74/40 K/BB rate. The 31-year-old is not a league-winner by any means, but he can produce decent ratios when facing mediocre opponents. He'll have a better matchup in his next projected appearance against the San Francisco Giants.
