5 years agoOakland Athletics starter Brett Anderson allowed five runs on nine hits across five innings of work during Thursday's 10-6 win over the Los Angeles Angels. He struck out four batters without issuing a walk. Home runs victimized the 31-year-old, as Mike Trout and Kevan Smith went deep off of him. Anderson owns an 11-9 record on the season to go along with a 4.19 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 81/45 K/BB rate. The left-hander is solely a streaming option at this point.
