3 years agoNew York Mets third base prospect Brett Baty went 3-for-4 with three runs, one walk and a two-run home run for Double-A Binghamton on Wednesday. It was just the second home run of the year for the Mets first round pick in 2019. Despite the lack of power in early showing this season, Baty is hitting .283 with 11 doubles and eight RBI through 99 at-bats. The biggest issue for the third baseman in his young career is the fact that he hits a lot of balls on the ground, but that is a matter that the Mets are hoping will straighten out as Baty develops. For now, Baty remains a few years away from contributing at the big-league level and will continue to work on his craft. He is only a name for managers in dynasty leagues to keep tabs on at the moment.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
