2 years agoNew York Mets rookie third baseman Brett Baty is starting at third base and is batting eighth on Saturday against Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Zack Wheeler. It will be his fourth straight start after being called up earlier in the week. In his first major league at-bat, Baty homered, and he's gone 3-for-10 (.300) with the home runs, four RBI, one run scored, one walk and two strikeouts so far in 11 plate appearances. With both Luis Guillorme and Eduardo Escobar on the injured list due to injuries, the 22-year-old should continue to play every day for the Mets and should have already been scooped up in the majority of fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
