4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner is in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rays. Clint Frazier, who went 0-for-3 with a trio of strikeouts on Friday, will take a seat on the bench against Rays' right-hander Tyler Glasnow. While it's frustrating to see Frazier stuck in a timeshare with Gardner, the latter has been the better hitter of the two in the early going, most notably in the plate discipline department, as he boasts an 18.5 percent walk rate compared to a 22.2 percent strikeout rate in the early going.--Tim Capurso
