6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner will lead off and play left field versus righty Liam Hendriks on Tuesday. Gardner normally bats first or ninth for the Yankees, so it's not too surprising seeing him leading off. However, he's doing it on Tuesday against a relief pitcher making a spot start. The A's are using Hendriks as an "opener", so it's unclear who is going to pitch afterwards. Gardner would be a solid DFS against Hendriks, but it's unclear who is pitching after him, so most fantasy players should avoid Gardner.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
