6 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Brett Kennedy struggled in his major league debut, serving up 11 hits and six earned runs Wednesday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Kennedy endured a nightmare start to his career with a six-run first inning, including surrendering back-to-back-to-back homers. Encouragingly, he settled down to complete four total innings without conceding any more damage. The 24-year-old fanned three and walked none in the outing. Despite the forgettable debut, Kennedy is sure to get another opportunity with the rebuilding Padres. He’ll likely get the nod next week against the Los Angeles Angels. He’s not an advisable fantasy option until he can post a few stronger performances.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
