6 years agoKansas City Royals manager Ned Yost said outfielder Brett Phillips (shoulder) took some swings on Tuesday and has been cleared to serve as a pinch-runner. Phillips is hitting just .198/.262/.342 with two home runs and 11 RBI in 111 at-bats, so he's not really a fantasy consideration as the season winds down.
