7 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Brett Phillips (shoulder) left the game early on Tuesday with a right shoulder contusion after crashing into the outfield wall. Phillips struck out in his only plate appearance before leaving the contest. He's been getting regular playing time with the Royals season all but over, but he's batting just .198/.262/.342 with two home runs and 11 RBI in 122 plate appearances. He can be avoided in all but the deepest AL-only leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
