Brett Phillips Sent Back Down To Triple-A
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Brett Phillips has been optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs. Starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff was called up in a corresponding move after it was announced that he would start Friday against the Colorado Rockies. Phillips was serving as a backup outfielder with the team and now will go back down to Triple-A to receive everyday at-bats. He only logged a .143 batting average with the Brewers during his short tenure and clearly has work to do. He holds no fantasy relevance right now.
