5 years agoBoston Bruins forward Brett Ritchie made an immediate impact against his former team, scoring his first goal of the season 1:09 into the game against the Dallas Stars. Ritchie was let go by the Stars after recording only six points in 53 games last season. It looks like Ritchie will get some opportunities to perform in the Bruins lineup, being promoted to the second line in this game after David Krejci was ruled out with an injury. Danton Heinen scored the other goal for the Bruins, as they held on to win 2-1.--Nate Duffett
