Brevin Jordan - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoHouston Texans rookie tight end Brevin Jordan was disappointing last week when saw his usual four targets for 56 yards, even though receiver Brandin Cooks missed the game. That said, this week sets up rather well for the Houston passing attack. The 49ers represent the second-ranked run defense, but they also have the 20th-ranked pass defense, according to DVOA. Furthermore, the Texans are double-digit-point underdogs and are very unlikely to jump out to a big lead like they did last week against the Chargers. Rookie quarterback Davis Mills has proven to be a capable quarterback, and the matchup sets up well. Jordan has some interesting long-term upside, but he can't really be trusted as anything more than a deep-league TE2 sleeper in this inept offense.
