Brewers Acquire Mike Brosseau
3 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers have acquired infielder Mike Brosseau in a trade with the Tampa Bay Rays for pitching prospect Evan Reifert. The 27-year-old Brosseau is a career .245 hitter in the Majors, with a lifetime .311 on-base percentage, 16 home runs, and five stolen bases in 409 plate appearances. He appeared in 57 games for the Rays last season, hitting .187 with a .266 on-base percentage, five home runs, and a pair of stolen bases. Capable of playing second base, third base, and first base, Brosseau will give the Brewers some additional depth around the infield.
