4 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Brian Anderson hit a home run in Wednesday's win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Anderson seems to be slowly breaking out of a slump that he's been in since the season started. He ended up 1-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI, all on his second inning solo shot. Anderson was hovering right around an even .200 batting average a few days ago, but he's at least worked his way up to .216 to go with a .605 OPS. He's always been a slow starter, so he may finally be ready to get his season going at the plate.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
