Brian Anderson To Miss Several Weeks With Shoulder Injury
4 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Brian Anderson (shoulder) is expected to miss "at least several weeks" with a left shoulder subluxation, according to Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald. Anderson exited Monday's game early after the team says he aggravated the injury when sliding into third base. This is a tough blow for managers who had Anderson on their roster, as he had begun to heat up this month after a slow start to the year, slashing .297/.366/.438 with two home runs, three steals, six RBI and 10 runs scored over 19 games in May. With Anderson out, the Marlins will likely turn to a combination of Isan Diaz and Jon Berti to handle third base.
