Brian Dozier Hits 11th Homer
6 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier went 1-for-4 with a solo homer on Tuesday. The homer gives Dozier 11 on the season, to go along with a .221/.301/.398 slash line, 45 runs, 31 RBI, and four steals. It has been a disappointing season for the All-Star second baseman, who is scheduled to become a free agent after the season. Despite Dozier's struggles, fantasy owners should hold onto him as he's shown in the past he can carry fantasy teams for an entire month when he gets hot. He will look to keep it going on Wednesday against Chicago White Sox right-hander James Shields. In 41 career at-bats against Shields, Dozier is slashing .317/.417/.732 with four homers.
