5 years agoWashington Nationals second baseman Brian Dozier was taken out of the game on Tuesday night after taking a pitch off of the forearm. He will sit out of the lineup on Wednesday despite the X-rays coming back negative. Howie Kendrick will take his spot in the lineup, batting fifth against White Sox starter Dylan Covey. Dozier is only batting .189 versus right-handed pitchers, while Kendrick has a .389 wOBA with six home runs. In terms of fantasy production, Kendrick is the better option for the Nationals anyway.--Nate Duffett
