6 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott allowed three goals on 30 shots in Sunday's 3-1 road loss against the Washington Capitals. While the Flyers are not officially eliminated from the playoff chance, their chances after this weekend after essentially nil. The Flyers also suffered a season sweep at the hands of the Capitals for just the second time in franchise history. Elliott slips to 11-10-1, and he has allowed 10 goals on 81 shots over his past two outings. The Flyers are back in action Wednesday night against the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs.--Daniel Dobish
