4 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Brian Goodwin will enter the starting nine for the first time with his new club Wednesday against St. Louis and right-hander Johan Oviedo. Goodwin, a Trade Deadline acquisition, will man center field, a gig that he could hold down at least in the short-term while Nick Senzel recovers. Batting sixth while playing at Great American Ball Park gives Goodwin considerable DFS appeal Wednesday, especially at his price tag. The Reds plan on giving him all the playing time that he can handle against righties over the final month.--Jesse Borek
