6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Brian Goodwin hit his fourth home run of the season in the Angels 4-3 win over the Blue Jays Tuesday night. Goodwin now has hits in eight of his last 10 games played with four runs batted in and eight runs scored during that span. The long-term injury to Justin Upton has opened the door for everyday at-bats in the outfield for the Angels and Goodwin has taken advantage. It still remains to be seen whether Goodwin can withstand the rigors of a long season but manager Brad Ausmus already has him hitting in the middle of the order. The 28-year-old will enter Wednesday's action slashing .338/.426/.575 through 80 at-bats this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
