3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Brian Goodwin played the role of hero in Sunday's victory versus the Cleveland Indians. Goodwin went 1-for-3 with two runs, one walk and a solo home run. Goodwin's home run was a walk-off homer against Nick Wittgren and it would be his second homer in as many days. Goodwin has been in the lineup with outfielder Eloy Jimenez (groin) being sidelined for four straight games. When Jimenez is healthy, Goodwin will see a decrease of playing time and that makes him expendable in all formats.
