6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Brian Goodwin continues to earn a long-term spot in the lineup after hitting a two-run home run in the Angels 12-7 loss to the Rangers on Monday night. With teammate Justin Upton on the shelf with a knee injury for the foreseeable future, Goodwin is taking this opportunity and running with it. In 11 games in the month of April, Goodwin has hits in nine of them and is slashing .344/.405/.625. Outside of Mike Trout, Goodwin has been the Angels most consistent hitter and could be worth a look in fantasy in deeper formats and in points-based leagues.--Joey C - RotoBaller
