6 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Brian Hill ran twice for 12 yards while adding two grabs for 47 yards and a touchdown in the preseason game Saturday against the Dallas Cowboys. Tre Carson ran six times for 24 yards and a score during his time in the backfield. Carson and Hill are among the combatants fighting for the scraps behind Joe Mixon and Giovani Bernard. Quinton Flowers and Mark Walton are also believed to be in the mix, but it looks more like a two-horse race for the third job between Carson and Hill. Whomever emerges as the winner still has an uphill climb to fantasy relevance, and they likely would need a long-term injury to Bernard or Mixon to sniff regular touches.--Daniel Dobish
