4 years agoA big cut early in the fight on Saturday and Ricky Simon's solid ground game were just too much for Brian Kelleher (22-12) to overcome. Kelleher ended up on the mat too many times, being taken down six out of nine times. In the striking department, Kelleher did land a beautiful front kick, but he had only 28 significant strikes (35 total strikes.) With the loss, Kelleher is now 6-5 inside the UFC at the age of 34. Kelleher will be back in there, though, as he still looked competitive enough against Simon.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
