7 years agoHouston Astros catcher Brian McCann (knee) is "progressing well" and hasn't had any setbacks since landing on the disabled list on July 1 after having midseason knee surgery. General manager Jeff Luhnow said he expects McCann to return in one to two weeks, either with the Astros or on a minor league rehab assignment. McCann was hitting just .206 with five home runs and 17 RBI in 155 at-bats, and he's basically the team's third best catcher behind Evan Gattis and Max Stassi at this point.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
