7 years agoHouston Astros catcher Brian McCann will get the start for the second game in a row Tuesday against the Twins, per MLB.com. The veteran catcher has been getting on base in the early goings of the young season, tallying hits in six of his first eight starts this season. He is hitting .364 through 22 at-bats with a .481 on-base percentage and five runs scored. It is expected McCann will cede time to Max Stassi as the season goes along, which should eat into his fantasy production. All of McCann's hits have been singles thus far, but his power should pick up at some point. In the end, fantasy owners should not expect a batting average over .250, but the hope is McCann has one more 20-plus home run season left in the tank.--Joey C - RotoBaller
