7 years agoHouston Astros catcher Brian McCann (knee) will start his rehab assignment with Triple-A Fresno on Thursday, according to manager A.J. Hinch. McCann has been out since June 30 but has hit only .206 with five home runs and 17 RBI in 2018, making him really only usable in two-catcher or NL-only leagues. Martin Maldonado and Max Stassi are sharing the catching duties as of now, but McCann will return to a part-time role when he's ready.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
