Brian Robinson On The Initial 53-Man Roster

2 years agoWashington Commanders rookie running back Brian Robinson is on the team's initial 53-man roster, and Jonathan Williams was also added as the third running back behind Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic, likely until Robinson is healthy. Robinson's inclusion on the 53-man roster seems like an indication that the team believes he'll be back sooner than the four-game mandate with Injured Reserve. The 23-year-old was released from the hospital on Monday after being shot twice on Sunday in an armed robbery attempt in D.C.
