Brian Robinson Practicing On Side Field
2 years agoWashington Commanders rookie running back Brian Robinson (knee) is working on a side field during the team's practice session on Wednesday, and reporters said that Robinson showed no obvious signs of discomfort while doing agility work and riding a stationary bike. The 23-year-old was shot in the knee and glute during a robbery attempt in late August and was put on the Non-Football Injury list, meaning he has to miss at least the first four games of the regular season. The Commanders fully believe that Robinson has a chance to play this year, but it remains to be seen when he'll make his NFL debut. The third-round appeared set for a significant early down role over Antonio Gibson before he was shot, so it will be interesting to see how Washington's backfield changes if/when Robinson makes it back. He deserves to be stashed in all fantasy formats.
