Brian Robinson Starts In Preseason Week 2
2 years agoWashington Commanders running back Brian Robinson had eight carries for 31 yards during Saturday's preseason loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. After a strong showing during the Commanders' first preseason game, the Alabama product returned with more of the same as he led the first team in rushing opportunities and statistics. During this preseason, the Commanders tend to favor the 23-year-old over his backfield teammate Antonio Gibson. Considering this recent pattern, it would not be surprising to see Robinson take on a more prominent role once the season begins and possibly usurp Gibson as the rushing leader in this offense.
