Brock Holt Slugs First Homer Of Season
6 years agoBoston Red Sox utility man Brock Holt finished 2-for-4, with two runs batted in, and three runs scored in a win over Baltimore Friday. It was arguably Holt's best game of the season, and he's now slashing .288/.364/.407. The 31-year-old has mainly played second base, with some time in the outfield as well, but if he continues to perform at the plate and the matchup is right, Boston will have him in the lineup. Right now, he is still just an option in AL-only formats, and doesn't move the needle in DFS. However, with more games like Friday he could begin to sneak into mixed-leagues conversations, due to his multi-position eligibility.
