Broncos Agree With Billy Turner
3 years agoThe Denver Broncos agreed with former Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Billy Turner on an undisclosed one-year deal on Thursday, according to a source. Turner should fill Denver's right tackle opening for the 2022 season in front of new quarterback Russell Wilson. He spent two-plus seasons with the Broncos from 2016 to 2018 before protecting quarterback Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay the last three years. The 30-year-old will reunite with former offensive coordinator and current head coach Nathaniel Hackett. Turner was originally a third-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2014 out of North Dakota State. He made 43 total starts for the Packers over the last three seasons.
