Broncos Cut Royce Freeman
3 years agoThe Denver Broncos have cut running back Royce Freeman after the 25-year-old spent each of the past three seasons with the team. In 46 career games, he has totaled 297 carries for 1,187 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns while adding 69 receptions for 409 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown. With the additions of Javonte Williams and Mike Boone to the backfield, Freeman became even more expendable than he already was. The former third-round pick could find himself a new home on a team in need of a running back, as it is a position where injuries tend to pile up. A potential suitor could be the Baltimore Ravens, who just lost J.K. Dobbins for the entirety of the season. Nonetheless, Freeman can remain off the fantasy radar until his situation becomes a bit more clear.
